How the tracked wallets are chosen
DexiScan does not follow the biggest wallets on Hyperliquid. It follows a cohort of wallets that passed a score built from their whole trading history, and it keeps that set fixed between rescores, so the numbers measure the wallets rather than the reshuffling.
Right now: the cohort has 170 wallets, and the set last changed on 21 Jul 2026.
Getting in
Candidates come from the Hyperliquid leaderboard. Each one is scored on its full trade history: risk-adjusted return, drawdown, consistency month to month, how concentrated its profit is and how long it has traded. A wallet enters only above a fixed percentile bar. The exact thresholds live in a separate scanner and change over time, so they are not published here.
Some wallets trade in ways nobody could copy in practice. They are flagged, and the Apex cohort on the dashboard is the subset that can realistically be followed.
Why the set stays fixed
A cohort that quietly swaps losers for winners always looks good on paper, because its equity curve ends up measuring the swapping. DexiScan changes the set only on a rescore, done by hand, and publishes the date of the last change.
What a whale means here
In this cohort a whale is a wallet that passed the score, not a wallet above some dollar size. Account sizes vary a lot, which is why the signals count wallets instead of dollars. Every wallet is also labelled with a trading style: holder, position, swing, intraday or scalper.
Positions, closed trades and exposure per coin are public on the dashboard and on the coin pages.
